The Republic of Dagestan emerged victorious in the team standings at the combined Championship and Youth Tournament of the North Caucasian and Southern Federal Districts, held at the Ali Aliyev Sports Palace in Kaspiysk. The competition featured nearly 500 athletes representing 15 regions.

Dagestan’s triumph was anchored by a commanding performance from its fighters, with ten athletes earning gold medals to be crowned regional champions across various weight classes. This comprehensive team victory on their home ground solidifies the republic’s preeminent position in the sport throughout the North Caucasus and Southern Russia.
