The Russian national Wushu Sanda team has left for Brazil to prepare for the World Cup. Athletes from Dagestan will compete in all five men's weight categories: Arsen Umalatov (56 kg), Ali Abdulkhalikov (75 kg), Jafar Magomedov (85 kg), Shamil Abdulmuslimov (100 kg), and Sultan Gapizov (+100 kg). Magomedali Magomedov, the president of Dagestani Wushu Sanda Federation and Achalo Magomedaminov, an esteemed coach of Russia, will accompany the athletes to the competition.
