Dagestani weightlifters achieved a complete medal sweep at the All-Russian Kadyrov Memorial Tournament in Grozny, encompassing both men's and women's competitions.

Ismail Khajibeyov won a gold medal in the up to 55 kg category with a combined lift of 220 kg, while Islam Abakarov claimed silver with a total of 215 kg. Ibragim Gadzhimuradov won bronze for the team in the up to 61 kg category, achieving a combined lift of 223 kg.  Buvaysar Believ emerged victorious in the up to 67 kg category, lifting a remarkable 270 kg. Madina Baymuradova further contributed to the national team's success by winning gold in the up to 71 kg category with a total lift of 177 kg.

The tournament is scheduled to continue for an additional two days.
