Athletes from Dagestan made a notable contribution to success of the Russian women's wrestling team at the prestigious international tournament held in Budapest.  Ekaterina Verbina won a gold medal in the 55-kilogram weight class, demonstrating exceptional dominance over her opponents. Elizaveta Smirnova achieved a bronze medal in the same category, while Ksenia Burakova earned a bronze in the 72-kilogram weight class.

Guided by Saypulla Absaidov, an Olympic champion from Dagestan, the Russian team emerged victorious at the tournament, accumulating a total of seven medals. This achievement placed Russia at the forefront of the competition rankings.
