Dagestani freestyle wrestlers achieved notable success at an international youth tournament held in Yakutsk. The competition featured over 150 athletes under the age of 18 from five different countries. Three Dagestani wrestlers emerged victorious: Magomed Salikhov (51 kg weight class), Kamil Kamilov (80 kg), and Nasrudin Nurakhmaev (110 kg).  Abdurakhim Nurullayev (55 kg) secured second place after a narrow defeat to the host nation's representative in the final bout.
