Makhachkala, November 12, 2014. Daghestani judokas obtained two medals at the All-Russian tournament in memory of the master of sports of the USSR Kuancha Babaev, held on November 7 - 9 in Nalchik, the website of Russian Judo Federation reports.

Boys and girls born in 1998-2000 took part in the competitions. About 580 judokas from almost all regions of Russia and Azerbaijani representative team competed in the tournament.

Rustam Zabolotnyi, a pupil of a coach Gamzat Gadzhiev, became the second winner of the tournament in the weight category up to 50 kg. Diana Kazamatova gained a bronze medal in the weight category up to 48 kg.

The competition is a qualifying tournament for the junior championship of Russia, which will be held in Kazan in February.
