Paul Hughes, an Irish Professional Fighters League (PFL) athlete, expressed interest in training in Dagestan, Russia, following his upcoming rematch against Russian contender Usman Nurmagomedov on October 3rd in Dubai.

When questioned about potential future training opportunities with Nurmagomedov's team, which includes renowned UFC figure Khabib Nurmagomedov, Hughes stated his desire to experience this "really cool" opportunity after concluding his competitive career.  Hughes previously lost to Nurmagomedov by majority decision in January.
