The native of Dagestan took the lead in the 61 kg category at the All-Russian Championships for under-15s in Krasnodar Region. Nazirov achieved 200 kg in the total: 87 kg in the snatch and 113 kg in the clean and jerk. Prior to this, Nazirov's Dagestani teammate Rasul Shiraev, who competed in the 55 kg category, had climbed to the top step of the podium. So far, these are the only medals for the Dagestani team in the ongoing competition.
