An exhibition dedicated to the 155th anniversary of Suleiman Stalsky's birth has opened in Makhachkala at Takho-Godi National Museum of Dagestan.

Suleiman Stalsky is known as the founder of Dagestanian poetry, also called "Homer of the 20th century" by Maxim Gorky.

The exhibition features works by Nikolai Iakov, who traveled to various regions of Dagestan and created portraits of prominent cultural figures such as Suleiman Stalsky, Gamzat Tsadasa and Efendi Kapiyev.
