The construction of a new runway at Makhachkala Airport is nearing completion. Idris Aliyev, Director General of JSC Mostotryad-99, informed that the asphalt concrete top layer, spanning 2,700 meters, has been successfully laid. The finished runway, measuring 3.2 kilometers in length, will be capable of accommodating all types of aircraft.
