A formal agreement for the exchange of plant genetic resources has been established between the Federal Agrarian Research Center of Dagestan and the Institute of Horticulture of Belarus.
This collaboration will facilitate the reciprocal transfer of collectible and breeding materials for fruit crops. The aim is to evaluate the performance of selected Dagestani varieties under Belarusian climatic conditions, while simultaneously assessing the adaptability of Belarusian varieties across diverse ecological zones within Dagestan.
