Dagestan and Uzbekistan set up joint venture to produce fiberglass

Dagestan and Uzbekistan plan to establish a joint venture to produce fiberglass. The parties have also agreed on new export supplies.

"We are working on the issue of creating a joint venture with entrepreneurs from the Republic of Uzbekistan. We will produce glass balls, export them, and in Uzbekistan the joint venture will produce glass fiber from them" - Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, chairman of the regional government said.

As to the top official, Uzbekistan is also interested in the region's merino wool, which is in demand for weaving and grape seedlings.
