MAKHACHKALA, July 14 – RIA "Dagestan". The Russian Ministry of Economic Development in collaboration with RWB (Wildberries and Russ), has launched a digital tourism promotion pilot project featuring Dagestan alongside St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Murmansk and Tula.
Dagestan was chosen due to its active base of certified guides listed in the federal register and the availability of services on the WB Travel "Marketplace of Impressions". Participation will bring additional federal support and promotion: regional attractions and tour offers will be displayed on digital screens across more than 20 regions via the Russ media holding, while Wildberries users can discover and book Dagestani excursions directly through WB Travel service.
