Dagestan Computer Clubs See 38x Growth in Three Years

MAKHACHKALA, August 19 – RIA Dagestan. The number of computer clubs in Dagestan has surged from just 2 in early 2023 to 76 by August 2026 — a 38-fold increase over the period, the Kontur.Focus analysts say.

The Association for the Development of Esports Infrastructure (ADEI) has clarified, however, that this statistical leap is largely attributed to companies reclassifying their activities under the All-Russian Classifier of Types of Economic Activity. While the number of venues has indeed risen, the real increase is considerably smaller than the raw figures suggest.
