The regional Ministry of Agriculture plans to double the capacity of modern fruit and vegetable storage facilities. Such measures will satisfy the demand for vegetables and fruits during the off-season in the republic. Such facilities had already been constructed in the cities of Kizlyar and Kizilyurt. A unique grape storage facility is being built in the Tabasaranski municipal district which has no analogues in Dagestan.
