MAKHACHKALA, March 24 – RIA Dagestan. According to Prime Minister Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, Dagestan's agricultural sector recorded significant export activity in the first two months of 2026, with lamb sent to Uzbekistan, fish products to Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan and rice to Kyrgyzstan.
The republic's export network spans over a dozen countries, including key partners such as Turkey, China, Kazakhstan and the UAE. Officials also point to promising opportunities for expanding cooperation with Persian Gulf states.
