MAKHACHKALA, July 15 – RIA "Dagestan". Winter grain harvesting in Dagestan is in full swing, with 20,800 hectares already covered. The regional Ministry of Agriculture states that an average yield of 26.5 centners per hectare has delivered a gross harvest of 55,300 tons to date. The overall area sown with winter crops this season makes over 80,000 hectares. The top-performing areas by volume of grain harvested are Khasavyurtovsky, Kizlyarsky and Nogaysky municipal districts.
