MAKHACHKALA, May 21 – RIA Dagestan. Housing commissioning in Dagestan reached 489,000 square meters in the first quarter of 2026, marking a 13% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
According to CIAN platform data, the highest growth rates were recorded in Primorsky Krai, where 435,000 square meters were commissioned (+41%), followed by Chechnya with 531,000 square meters (+32%) and Sverdlovsk Oblast with 1.4 million square meters (+30%). In contrast, Stavropol Krai saw a significant decline, with housing commissioning falling 36% to 543,000 square meters during the same period.
Overall, Russia commissioned 23 million square meters of housing in the first quarter of 2026, a figure 28% lower than in the first quarter of 2025. Dagestan's positive growth trajectory stands out against the national downward trend in residential construction. The regional increase reflects ongoing efforts to expand housing availability and improve living conditions across the republic. These figures underscore the varying dynamics of residential development across Russia's federal subjects in early 2026.
