MAKHACHKALA, October 23 – RIA Dagestan. Krasnodar Krai, Dagestan and Crimea account for more than 70% of Russia's total vineyard area. This has been announced by Irina Fedina, Deputy Head of the Food and Processing Industry Department at Russian Ministry of Agriculture.
According to her presentation, vineyards in the Republic of Dagestan cover 27,800 hectares. For comparison, this figure stands at approximately 23,500 hectares in Crimea. As previously reported, Dagestan's grape harvest in 2026 may decline by 7.3% to 280,000 tons.
