MAKHACHKALA, August 12 – RIA "Dagestan". The Unified Resource of Developers ranked Dagestan first in Russia for construction market competition based on July 1, 2026, data showing minimal concentration.
Only 14.6% of the region’s 1.5 million square meters of active projects belong to the top three developers, down from 18.6% a year earlier.
Sverdlovsk Region took second place with 17.3% concentration, slipping one spot despite marginal growth in top-firm market share during the first half of the year. Yaroslavl Region remains third at 18.4%, benefiting from a yearly decline that boosted its competitiveness rating by two positions.
Kabardino-Balkaria entered the top four at 19.3%, recording a substantial 5.6 percentage point drop in leading developer share over six months.
Concurrently, Dagestan maintains the North Caucasian highest real estate prices, with primary and secondary units costing RUB 118,600 and 101,300 per square meter in late 2025.
