MAKHACHKALA, February 16 – RIA “Dagestan”. In 2025, entrepreneurs from Dagestan notably expanded their presence on the Wildberries online marketplace. The number of sellers from the republic increased and the assortment of goods offered grew by 18%, reflecting the development of local business activity. Turnover generated by Dagestan-based sellers rose by nearly 40%, with footwear, clothing and home textiles emerging as the most popular product categories.
Analysts observe a steady rise in consumer interest in goods produced by authentic regional manufacturers. Overall marketplace turnover in Dagestan increased by 46% year-on-year, with average growth in key categories—clothing, footwear and beauty products—reaching 40–50%. Home appliances registered an unexpected surge in demand, with sales rising by 66% and establishing the category as one of the fastest-growing segments in the republic.
