MAKHACHKALA, June 25 – RIA "Dagestan". An official delegation of the Republic of Dagestan headed by Acting Deputy Prime Minister Rizvan Gazimagomedov visited one of the largest textile enterprises of the Republic of Belarus — OJSC "KAMVOL." Tatiana Lugina, the Director General of "KAMVOL" OJSC hosted the working meeting and presented the enterprise's robust production and export capabilities. She guided the visitors through the modern technological solutions employed at each phase of production and provided insights into the broad geographical reach of their product supplies.
The delegates from Dagestan got familiarized with the complete textile production process—from the initial treatment of wool to the final fabric output—and discussed the potential for expanding industrial cooperation and forging partnerships of mutual benefit. The talks gave particular weight to deepening collaboration in wool processing and to the development of cooperative linkages between the enterprises of both republics.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in strengthening business contacts, implementing joint projects and further developing cooperation in the textile industry. A strong basis for this expanded cooperation already exists, as Dagestan currently supplies raw wool to Belarusian light industry enterprises such as "KAMVOL".
