Joint Dagestan-Uzbekistan Sensor Production Signs $3M in Contracts

MAKHACHKALA, October 6 – RIA "Dagestan". As part of the Russia-Uzbekistan Council of Regions initiative, Acting Deputy Chairman of Dagestan Government Rizvan Gazimagomedov conducted a site visit to DLKIP, a bilateral manufacturing enterprise producing sensor equipment for the industrial, extractive and agricultural sectors.

The facility leverages R&D from Dagestani firm Domalogika, with final assembly executed in Uzbekistan. Plant Director Khasay Yusupanov showcased the site's capabilities, revealing that the enterprise has secured over $3 million in new contracts within its inaugural year and maintains a portfolio of 200+ innovations, including commercially deployed wireless sensors.

To accommodate capacity expansion and scale production volumes, a new manufacturing facility is slated for construction. The DLKIP joint venture originated from a 2022 Uzbek trade mission to Dagestan, which also facilitated initial export agreements for Domalogika’s pressure sensors to the Uzbek entity Energopribor.

The proliferation of joint manufacturing clusters remains a strategic pillar of Dagestan-Uzbekistan economic integration, further demonstrated by the 2025 commissioning of the Asadbek Glass Fiber textile fiberglass plant and deepening interregional cooperation with Bukhara and Namangan provinces.
