Passenger traffic at Makhachkala International Airport has increased by 5.6% as of the end of October this year. According to the airport's statistics, the total number of passengers exceeded 219,000. During the month, 1,596 flights were operated and 390 tons of cargo and mail processed. The most popular domestic destinations are Moscow, St. Petersburg, Surgut, and Kazan. International flights include Istanbul, Dubai, Baku, Abu Dhabi, and other cities.
