Makhachkala, April 20, 2016. According to the state statistics body of the Republic of Dagestan, in the first quarter of 2016 the index of industrial production rose by 19.2% in the region. Above all, the manufacturing activity grew up to 23.38%.
The mining sector, by contrast, dropped by 3.4%, while the production and distribution of electricity, gas and water increased by 3.2%.
With these parameters, the data on volumes of shipments correlate: in the manufacturing sector rose by 4.6% (up to 123.8 million rubles), in the field of production reduced by 5.1% (down to 96.6 million) and in the field of electricity generation and distribution of gas and water rose by 12.3% (up to 103.2 million rubles).
