Makhachkala, January 21, 2018. Rosavtodor (the Russia’s government agency responsible for overseeing the road transport industry and Transport engineering) intends to start construction of a four-lane road bypassing the city of Khasavyurt in 2018.
According to the press service of the republican branch of the federal agency, the new motorway will be built with a view to unload the traffic in the city. The construction of the four-lane road with a length of 21 kilometers will be carried out by Rosavtodor within the framework of the large-scale project "Construction, reconstruction of the P-217" Caucasus" highway.
The new section of the road with improved coverage will allow you to reach the speed of up to 120 kilometers per hour.
