MAKHACHKALA, November 4 – RIA Dagestan. The Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) has granted permission to the Jordanian airline Royal to operate regular flights from Amman to Makhachkala. The first aircraft from the Jordanian capital has arrived today, November 4.
The flight time on an Airbus A320neo will be 2 hours and 40 minutes. Flights are scheduled once a week, on Wednesdays.
It is noted that in the current autumn-winter season, Royal Jordanian is the only airline operating direct flights between Russia and Jordan. The route to Makhachkala is new for the carrier; previously, flights were operated exclusively from Amman to Domodedovo Airport in Moscow.
