In Dagestan, the number of employees in small and medium-sized businesses has increased by 20% for 2023. According to statistics, there are currently almost 370,000 people working in small businesses in the republic. This represents 30% of the economically active population in the region. The highest percentage of people employed in small and medium enterprises in the country is observed in St. Petersburg (62.9%), Novosibirsk Oblast (56.6%) and Moscow (56.5%).
