Retail and Wholesale Trade Turnover in Dagestan Exceeds RUB One Trillion

MAKHACHKALA, February 27 – РИА Dagestan. The combined turnover of retail and wholesale trade in Dagestan has surpassed one trillion rubles, according to official statistics for 2025.

Specifically, retail trade turnover in Dagestan reached exactly one trillion rubles last year. Sales volumes in the segment of fairs and retail markets alone amounted to nearly RUB 230 billion.

In the wholesale trade segment, growth reached 5.1%, totaling 251 billion rubles. For comparison, Stavropol Krai recorded an 11% decline in this sector but retained its leading position by volume, with a turnover of RUB 955 billion.
