MAKHACHKALA, August 26 – RIA Dagestan. More than 730 transformer substations in Dagestan have undergone scheduled maintenance as part of efforts to prepare the region's power grid for winter, Dagenero branch of Rosseti Northern Caucasus reports.
Between January and July 2026, specialists serviced 734 substations with a voltage class of 6-10/0.4 kV. The work included repairing transformers and circuit breakers, replacing worn-out enclosures and installing modern domestically produced circuit breakers and disconnectors.
Rosseti Northern Caucasus has allocated RUB 1.7 billion for the repair program in Dagestan this year. The measures are designed to ensure reliable power supply for consumers during the autumn-winter period.
