MAKHACHKALA, June 4 – RIA Dagestan. The Government of Dagestan and the merged company Wildberries and Russ (RVB) have signed a partnership agreement at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
The deal envisages the implementation of an investment project to construct a logistics complex, the development of e-commerce, and the rollout of joint educational initiatives in the field of e-commerce within the region.
The agreement encompasses several key areas, including the launch of the "Growth Platform" entrepreneurship support program, which is aimed at developing and scaling business initiatives, as well as increasing the presence of Dagestani brands on the marketplace. As part of this project, the company also plans to obtain resident status in the "Makhachkala" Special Economic Zone.
According to Robert Mirzoyan, CEO of RVB, the construction of the complex will ensure effective domestic coverage and create additional opportunities for the region to participate in transit and export routes through southern Russia.
