At the Caucasus Investment Forum, SberBank's Southwestern Branch Chairman Anatoly Pesennikov and Kavkaz.RF General Director Andrey Yumshanov signed a memorandum of intent on Sber's participation in the "Investment Hub" digital project. The platform aims to boost investment activity across North Caucasus Federal District regions.
"Sber has always focused on supporting business growth and offering entrepreneurs and investors relevant tools is a priority. In partnership with Kavkaz.RF, the bank has launched several joint investment projects to improve the business climate in the North Caucasian Federal District. A preferential lending program issued 206 loans totaling RUB 8 billion over three years. Sber is now exploring collaboration on Kavkaz.RF's digital platform to streamline interaction between project initiators, banks, development institutions and businesses on credit transactions” – Pesennikov said.
"Kavkaz.RF and Sber have successfully cooperated for years, implementing projects across various sectors and industries. Together, they help NCFD entrepreneurs to launch and grow businesses” - Yumshanov said. Noting Russia's world-leading digital services adoption, Yumshanov explained that the goal is to create an electronic tool that simplifies access to government support. The digital platform will connect entrepreneurs and lenders while centralizing data on launched and planned investment projects in the Caucasus.
