Three sections of the federal highway Kavkaz with a total length of more than 15 kilometers have been commissioned after major repairs in Dagestan. The road sections are located in the territory of Izberbash, Gerga and Kala villages of Kayakent and Derbent municipal districts respectively. The road builders widened the carriageway to 4 lanes with oncoming traffic separated, installed lighting, traffic lights, fencing and organized bus stops.
