According to the Industry and Trade Ministry of Dagestan, for millions of consumers worldwide, "Halal" is not merely a religious attribute but a guaranteed and verified level of quality at all stages of production—from raw materials to the counter.
However, it has been revealed that approximately 40 different "Halal" standards are currently approved, which often misleads consumers and complicates the choice of quality products. To simplify the certification procedure, a territorial office of the "Halal" system has been opened in Dagestan, allowing for the efficient processing of applications from the local producers.
The Industry and Trade Ministry of the Republic of Dagestan, together with the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Food has prepared the initial list of enterprises applying for the unified quality mark, including the meat processing companies KUMK LLC and KurbanService.
