On December 14, 2025, Moscow House of Nationalities hosted a special evening honoring Arsen Guseynov—President of Moscow Dagestani Cultural Community “Dagestan” distinguished scholar and renowned public figure. The event gathered members of Dagestani diaspora, youth representatives and esteemed guests from across Russia.
The evening was opened by Tamara Zakaryayeva, Senior Editor at the State TV and Radio Company “Dagestan,” who portrayed Guseynov’s life as a compelling example of intellectual rigor and civic dedication. “He is not only a renowned scholar and active public leader but also a mentor who inspires new generations to pursue excellence in science and technology,” she said.
The program commenced with a video tribute to his achievements, followed by a greeting from Zurab Kuchchayev, Head of Laksky municipal district administration.
In their remarks, speakers including Astemir Sheykhaliev, Vice President of the Community and Shamil Aliyev, a developer of rocket weaponry, underscored Guseynov’s profound contributions to science, civic engagement and the preservation of Dagestani cultural identity. A recurring theme was the critical importance of patriotic education for youth and the imperative to safeguard Russia's intellectual heritage.
The broad attendance—spanning academics, entrepreneurs, officials and artists—testified to the widespread admiration for Guseynov.
