YEKATERINBURG, November 5 – RIA Dagestan. The State Academic Honored Dance Ensemble of Dagestan "Lezginka" performed at a festive concert dedicated to National Unity Day in Yekaterinburg.
The concert was held at the Ural Center of Folk Art (Lavrov Palace of Culture). The official part of the event was opened by Artem Zhoga, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in Ural Federal District and Denis Pasler, Governor of Sverdlovsk Region.
The "Lezginka" program featured choreographic numbers showcasing the ancient customs, male valor and female grace of the peoples of the mountainous region. The Ural audience responded with high appreciation for the artists' virtuosic performance technique and profound expressiveness.
Dzhambulat Magomedov, Artistic Director of the ensemble and Honored Art Worker of Russia, highlighted the significance of the event. "It is a huge honor for us to perform in Yekaterinburg on this important day for the entire country. The Urals welcomed us incredibly warmly. Seeing the shining eyes of the audience and feeling their feedback and energy is the best reward for the artists. We are glad that we were able to share a piece of Dagestan with the residents and guests of this beautiful city and once again prove that culture unites us all" - Magomedov stated.
