MAKHACHKALA, February 18 – RIA “Dagestan”. Deputy Prime Minister Muslim Telyakavov attended an expanded board meeting of Dagestan's Youth Affairs Ministry, commending the ministry's 2025 performance and urging the adoption of innovative formats for youth engagement.

As to minister Kamil Saidov, over 65% of the regional youth participate in event-based and project-oriented activities, supported by over 150 major events held in 2025—including 100 commemorating the 80th anniversary of Victory and the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland. The republic's volunteer movement has grown to 200,000 participants, with nearly 80,000 registered on the Dobro.RF platform; 12,000 new volunteers joined in 2025 alone, collectively contributing more than 250,000 hours of service.

Dagestan recorded the nation's highest participation in the International Volunteer Corps for the Victory anniversary with 13,000 volunteers, while the #MYVMESTE headquarters dispatched over five tons of humanitarian aid to the special military operation zone. Furthermore, more than 1,200 young residents attended 25 federal and interregional forums, securing RUB 70 million in grants— RUB 55 million from Rosmolodezh and RUB 15 million from the Movement of the First.

The board culminated in an awards ceremony for distinguished youth sector representatives.
