MAKHACHKALA, June 26 – RIA "Dagestan". The Acting Head of Dagestan Fyodor Shchukin toured the workshops of the "Dagdizel" plant and held discussions with its employees. Describing the facility's massive impact, Shchukin called "Dagdizel" a town-forming enterprise for Kaspiysk and the premier flagship of the regional industry, accounting for 25% of all industrial production in Dagestan. The governor highlighted its status as a strategic defense contractor, noting that the plant produces unique, specialized goods for the national navy, from underwater weapons and ship fittings to advanced diesel engines.
"I see colossal potential at this enterprise. To advance, we must pursue modernization, broaden and diversify our production lines and master the creation of new civilian products. This is the trajectory the President of the Russian Federation directs enterprises toward. It presents a challenge, but I am confident in our capacity to produce new, competitive goods" Fyodor Shchukin stated.
Besides, the Acting Head described "Dagdizel" as a shared pride, affirming that the republic will do everything possible to foster the plant's development, create new jobs and fortify Dagestan's industrial capabilities.
