MAKHACHKALA, April 18 – RIA Dagestan. The Government of the Republic of Dagestan has sanctioned an additional allocation of RUB 300 million from its reserve fund to support individuals impacted by recent natural catastrophes, following directives issued by regional Governor Sergei Melikov. The formal authorization for this funding was endorsed on April 17 by Prime Minister Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov.
These financial resources have been entrusted to the Ministry of Labor and Social Development to facilitate compensation for citizens whose properties were affected by severe hydrometeorological disturbances. The disbursements target residents within municipalities officially enumerated in Decree No. 52, dated March 30, 2026.
An initial tranche of RUB 100 million had previously been earmarked for this initiative. At present, a comprehensive damage assessment is being conducted throughout the republic, with claims for restitution, including one-time emergency relief payments, actively being processed.
