MOSCOW, July 3 – RIA "Dagestan". Acting Head of Dagestan Fyodor Shchukin and President of the Ski Union of Russia Vsevolod Shevelev have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at advancing the regional ski industry.
Under the agreement, the Union will help execute regional projects by attracting investors and offering expert guidance, such as evaluating territories for ski clusters and advising on master plans and investment strategies. The partnership roadmap also features the promotion of tourism and healthy living, the creation of specialized training programs for local experts and informational support for business owners.
The development of skiing in the republic, officials say, will bring new employment opportunities, improve the wellbeing of residents and contribute to overall economic progress. Shchukin stated that the agreements achieved would help make Dagestan's mountain areas an attractive destination for family and active recreation throughout the entire year.
