MAKHACHKALA, September 27 – RIA Dagestan. Dagestan Prime Minister Magomed Ramazanov held a strategic meeting with regional and municipal officials to assess the republic's latest financial and economic indicators. The top official directed the attendees to analyze recent trends, pinpoint areas lacking positive momentum and address the underlying causes of any performance gaps to ensure all administrative targets are met.
Highlighting recent fiscal progress, operational reports from September 24 show that budget expenditures have hit roughly RUB 150 billion, accompanied by an increase of 5.1 percentage points in the fund utilization rate for capital investments and procurement over the last two weeks.
Highlighting a 5.1 percent overall increase in procurement and capital spending over two weeks, the regional Ministry of Finance noted that top-performing state bodies like the Public Health Ministry and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food set a positive pace that was closely mirrored by municipal formations.
Government Chairman Magomed Ramazanov reminded attendees that budget execution should directly benefit residents through new facilities and improved services, while also demanding a joint executive and municipal effort to elevate regional tax collections. Following an assessment of zonal local self-government performance by Federal Tax Service chief Aidar Bairamov, relevant department and municipal heads were ordered to analyze revenue shortfalls and formulate new strategies to increase budget inflows.
Finalizing the agenda, Ramazanov mandated the continuation of rigorous weekly monitoring, insisting that financial dynamics be closely tracked and that oversight of all previously issued directives be significantly strengthened.
