MAKHACHKALA, March 2 – RIA "Dagestan". Amendments to the principal parameters of the republican budget for 2026 and the planning period up to 2028 have been considered by the Budget Committee of the People's Assembly of Dagestan, chaired by Marat Ilyasov. A report on the proposed changes was delivered by Shamil Dabishiev, Acting Minister of Finance of the Republic.
Under the revised figures, the revenue component of the budget for the current year is to be increased by RUB 3.3 billion, totaling RUB 227.3 billion rubles. Expenditure allocations have been raised by 18 billion rubles, reaching 245 billion rubles. A budget deficit of RUB 17.7 billion rubles has been established.
Supplementary funding has been assigned to designated priority areas. The largest increase was directed to the national economy sector (+ RUB 6.2 billion rubles), followed by housing and communal services (+ RUB 4.7 billion rubles), education (+ RUB 2.3 billion rubles), healthcare (+ RUB 1.7 billion rubles), and sports (+ RUB 1.1 billion rubles).
Notable adjustments at the ministerial level include additional allocations to the Ministry of Economy (+ RUB 4.2 billion rubles, including for development initiatives in Derbent and Makhachkala), the Ministry of Construction (+ RUB 3.3 billion rubles, for infrastructure modernization) and the Ministry of Health (+ RUB 1.7 billion rubles, for equipment acquisition and capital repairs).
