Over half of Russia's regions have either implemented or currently develop foundational legal frameworks for the creative industries sector. The remaining regions lack such crucial legal support.
Khadzhimurad Israpilov, Head of the Agency for Entrepreneurship and Investment of the Republic of Dagestan, emphasized the importance of establishing a comprehensive legal framework and development strategy for creative industries in his republic by 2025.
The top official highlighted the significance of incorporating municipalities in fostering localized creative industry clusters. Besides, Israpilov stressed the role of cities as vibrant creative ecosystems, recognizing how cultural industries and the creative economy can revitalize public spaces and accelerate territorial growth.
