MAKHACHKALA, June 4 – RIA Dagestan. The People's Assembly of the Republic of Dagestan has discussed the draft law "On Regulating Certain Issues of Activities Related to the Treatment of Ownerless Animals on the Territory of the Republic of Dagestan" along with proposed amendments to it.
The meeting was chaired by Asiyat Alieva, Chairperson of the People's Assembly Committee on Agrarian Issues, Nature Management, Ecology and Environmental Protection. The session was also attended by parliament deputies, representatives of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Dagestan, executive authorities, municipal entities and civil activists.
Meeting participants discussed the amendments submitted. The draft law regulates specific aspects of activities involving ownerless animals and outlines the list of measures to be implemented in this area within the territory of Dagestan.
Deputies and experts approved the proposed amendments. The finalized draft law will be submitted for consideration by the People's Assembly Committee for adoption in the second reading.
