SAINT PETERSBURG, June 3 – RIA Dagestan. At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2026), the Republic of Dagestan was named one of the three leaders — alongside Amur Oblast and Astrakhan Oblast — in the sixth annual Comprehensive Investment Rating of Russian Regions in renewable energy, compiled by the Association for the Development of Renewable Energy with Central Bank support, which this year removed the division between price and non-price zones to help regions analyze their market position and develop individual industry strategies.
Amur Oblast, Astrakhan Oblast and Dagestan topped the renewable energy investment rating. According to ARVE experts, the study helps Russian regions assess their market position, develop industry strategies and independently choose growth parameters, technologies and support measures.
