MAKHACHKALA, October 7 – RIA "Dagestan". As part of the official visit of Dagestan delegation to Uzbekistan, Acting Deputy Prime Minister Rizvan Gazimagomedov conducted a series of high-level bilateral engagements with regional administrations to advance interregional cooperation across trade, investment, industrial, agro-industrial and tourism sectors.
At the Fergana Region Expo Center, a foundational Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Gazimagomedov and Fergana Governor Khayrullo Bazarov, establishing a framework for joint project development and enterprise-level networking.
Subsequent meetings yielded further strategic agreements: a cooperation MoU with Tashkent Region Deputy Governor Zhakhangir Mamazhonov prioritizing agriculture, light industry and tourism, alongside commitments to host a reciprocal trade delegation in Dagestan; a comprehensive action plan with Bukhara Region Deputy Governor Rizo Asadov targeting mutual supply chain expansion and human capital development; and an industrial-focused MoU with Jizzakh Region Deputy Governor Bakhrom Muzafarov encompassing electrical engineering and investment initiatives, supported by the establishment of a joint working group.
The diplomatic agenda concluded with the exchange of bilateral roadmaps with the Namangan Region administration, formalizing collaboration in trade, digital transformation, cultural exchange and youth policy.
