MAKHACHKALA, July 21 – RIA "Dagestan". As of July 1, 2026, Dagestan has outpaced its Rosreestr housing land fund goal, reaching 5,407.68 hectares across 3,883 plots against a 5,376.80-hectare target, with 1,678 plots (5,120.12 ha) set aside for future development and 2,205 plots (287.56 ha) already in use.
As to Arsen Pirmagomedov, head of the regional Rosreestr directorate, transparent markets depend on complete real estate data, citing ongoing inventory efforts and federal-funded cadastral surveys with local partners to support investor confidence.
The "Land for Tourism" project has earmarked 149 plots (244.47 ha) for tourism, with 115 (161.7 ha) already in turnover; major initiatives include a 310-hectare year-round Derbent resort (450 ha including a children’s center) with a 6.5-km beach line, strategically located near transport links, as well as the Caspian Coastal Cluster, All-Russian Children's Center "Dagestan" and "Kayakent" resort to drive tourism growth.
