MAKHACHKALA, September 23 – RIA "Dagestan". Regional officials have reviewed the advancement of large-scale investment projects during a recent session of Dagestan Government. Chairman Magomed Ramazanov asserted that the attraction and support of investors was one of the most fundamentally significant priorities for the cabinet of ministers.
Ramazanov clarified that the government's decision to provide land plots to investors without auctions was specifically designed to catalyze the building of production facilities, drive job creation and increase tax receipts. As to the prime minister, the region's portfolio now includes 40 substantial investment projects, some of which are already up and running, demonstrating economic success.
Ramazanov called for a rigorous, objective assessment of each investment, pledging comprehensive administrative support for developers who successfully create jobs, generate tax revenue and build production facilities.
However, he firmly rejected the continuous extension of project deadlines for investors who have neglected their contractual obligations for years. In his push to actively support new economic initiatives, the top official asserted that the region's strong desire to attract private investment would be matched by rigorous enforcement of investor accountability regarding stated deadlines and physical deliverables.
