MOSCOW, June 10 – RIA Dagestan. The Russian Government has allocated RUB 174.9 million from its reserve fund to compensate residents of Dagestan and Chechnya for essential property losses incurred during the natural disasters of March and April 2026.
The decision was formalized by an order signed by RF Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The resources will reach Chechnya's budget as an interbudgetary transfer: RUB 113.33 million are allocated for partial loss of property and RUB 61.6 million for total loss. The Emergencies Ministry will monitor that the funds are spent appropriately.
The compensation package responds to the massive flooding triggered by heavy rains on March 28 and April 4–5, after which a federal emergency regime was imposed in both Dagestan and Chechnya.
