MAKHACHKALA, April 29 – RIA "Dagestan." The annual St. Georgy's Ribbon campaign has been officially launched at Dagestan Government in an event coordinated by the Youth Affairs Ministry, Victory Volunteers and the Movement of the First.
During the event, activists pinned St. Georgy's ribbons on participants while explaining the historical significance of this revered symbol of the Great Victory. Prime Minister Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov was the first to take part, thanking youth activists for their work in patriotic education and historical preservation. The Head of Government highlighted that the campaign is not only a tribute to tradition but also a vital element of intergenerational continuity, symbolizing the heroism and self-sacrifice of those who defended the freedom of the Motherland.
Deputy Prime Ministers Ramazan Jafarov and Abdurakhman Makhmudov, alongside government staff officials, joined the campaign too. The initiative will continue across the entire republic till May 9.
